Lovecraft meets bizarre vintage food adverts:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/oranchak.com\/foodcthulhu1.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>It was very peculiar, but as the little boy uttered his petition there seemed to form overhead the shadowy, nebulous figures of exotic things; of hybrid creatures, crowned with horn-flanked disks.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/oranchak.com\/foodcthulhu2.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>Those who described these strange shapes felt quite sure that they were not human, despite some superficial resemblences in size and general outline.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/oranchak.com\/foodcthulhu3.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>The odor of the fish was maddening; but I was too much concerned with graver things to mind so slight an evil, and set out boldly for an unknown goal.<\/p>\n<p>(thanks to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.plan59.com\/scarykids.htm\">boingboing<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/accordionguy.blogware.com\/blog\/_archives\/2005\/11\/28\/1425558.html\">accordionguy<\/a> for mashup fodder)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A great idea from Jon: H.P.
